Entrar

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Romans 12:2

The direction of your life will always be the result of:

1: Where you spend your time.

2: What you feed your mind.

Take control of these two things and you can take control of your life.

What do you spend your time on?

Do you waste time on endless entertainment or invest it in personal growth?

Are you saying I can’t have entertainment? Absolutely not! But what if instead of mindless entertainment we had purposeful rest?

What if we took morning walks and prayed? What if after a long day, we crawled into bed and watched a great episode of our favorite show, got the mental rest we needed, and… stopped… went to sleep, or read scripture before falling asleep?

What if we took full control of our time?

Take your power back!

Create a new schedule that SERVES you. Invest your time in things that grow your spirit, soul, and body. You have more power than you know.

You must take control of your time because it is the stuff life is made of!

Think today.

In what ways could I invest my time better? In what ways could I establish a new plan for growth?

A part of that plan must be a change in what I feed my mind.

When I feed my mind, what will I choose? Scripture or Social media? Wisdom or Entertainment? Spiritual things or fleshly things?

The kind of music you listen to matters. It’s feeding your mind.

The kind of people you listen to matters. They are feeding your mind.

The kind of things you watch matter. They are feeding your mind.

You will never get greatness out of you if you don’t put greatness in you.

Jesus said in Mark 4 that you are like a garden. He tries to get His seed into your heart. But other things come to get it out. He says you will produce the seeds that REMAIN in you.

I want you to take stock of what you have been feeding your mind.

And ask: Is this the direction you want your life to go?

What if you began to read about the old saints of God? The men and women who walked with God intimately?

What if you read the book of Proverbs daily or made up your mind you wouldn’t go to bed until you read three chapters in the Epistles?

Remember, your life will always move in the direction of your most dominant thoughts.

If you can renew your mind… You will change your life!
