Are you a high or middle schooler wanting to share your faith? Here are some tips to help you share your faith. As a youth, it's important to remember the advice given in 1 Timothy 4:12, "let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." Even though you're young, you can still positively influence those around you by living out your faith through your actions and attitude.

Sharing your faith can be intimidating at times, but there are some steps you can take to make it easier:

  1. Spend Time with Jesus: The first step is prioritizing spending time alone with Jesus daily. Whether through prayer, reading the Bible, or worship, nurturing your relationship with Him will give you a deeper understanding of His love and message. As you spend time with Jesus, you'll naturally develop a desire to share Him with others.
  2. Be a living example: live out your faith daily. Let your actions, words, and attitudes reflect the values and teachings of Jesus. Trust that He will guide you and give you the words to say. Strive to be kind, compassionate, and respectful to everyone you interact with, including your friends, teammates, and classmates. Remember that age, lack of experience, or past mistakes don't disqualify you from sharing the message.
  3. Get in Community: Surround yourself with like-minded believers who can encourage and support you in your faith. Find friends, come to momentum, or join a small group at church where you can grow together spiritually. These relationships can help strengthen your faith and provide accountability. Consider getting involved if your school or community has faith-based clubs like FCA, organizations, or events. This can allow you to interact with others who share your faith and create a supportive environment where you can openly discuss and share your beliefs.
  4. Share your personal story: People are often interested in hearing personal stories and experiences. You can share how your faith has positively impacted your life. Please discuss the values and principles guiding you and how they have helped you overcome challenges or find meaning and purpose. An example is simply sharing a bible verse on your Instagram story.
  5.  Invite them to church: If you're involved in a church or momentum, invite your friends for services, youth groups, or special events. This can provide a relaxed and welcoming environment for them to learn more about your faith.

Remember, sharing your faith doesn't always have to be a grand gesture or a formal setting. It can be as simple as conversing with a friend or family member about your beliefs or showing kindness and love to those around you. Your own experiences and the goodness of God in your life are powerful testimonies that can impact others.

Lastly, trust in God's presence and guidance. He promises to be with you always, and when you step out in faith to share your beliefs, He will use you to make a difference in the lives of others. Be open, willing, and bold in sharing your faith, knowing you are living proof of God's goodness and love.
